Alessi...Twenty-five years without squeezing lemons

Alessi is always suprising us and pushing forward with brilliant, new, innovative designs. Including incorporating the designs of saught after international contemporary architect, Peter Zumthor. However the best-known Alessi products are usually the original products. It has been twenty-five years since the "Juicy Salif" was designed and Produced by Philippe Starck at Alessi and yet it remains one of the most intelligently provocative projects  the Alessi factory has ever designed.

The Juicy Salif citrus squeezer is as revolutionary as it is surprisingly functional. It started its life as a sketch on a pizzeria napkin by Starck during a holiday by the sea in Italy. 

For their 25th Anniversary, Alessi are presenting two new versions of the Juicy Salif, one in white and one in cast bronze, limited to only 299 copies. One of which should be yours!!
