Revamping A Timeless Design. Welcome Back Orient Black.

Designed by Jo Hammerborg back in the 1963, the original Orient range had a huge commercial success throughout the 60’s and 70’s. Due to its timeless design, craftsmanship, and use of high quality materials the Orient has made a comeback. Lightyears Lighting has taken on the task of remanufacturing this great range and have already released the Orient Copper which has proven to be a great success.

They are now rereleasing a restored version of the ever popular Orient Black pendant. Crafted from an aluminium shade and coated matt black, the Orient Black from Lightyears follows the original design but with a contemporary take. The matt surface gives the pendant shade a flat, yet pure design. The matt black surface contrasts beautifully with the solid rosewood’s dark grain.
