Vitra Eames DAW Plastic Armchair

Today the Plastic Chairs RE by Charles and Ray Eames seem like archetypes of the genre of chairs whose shell can be combined with diverse bases. The DAW (Dining Height Armchair Wood Base) pairs the wooden base with a shell made of post-consumer recycled plastic, creating a rich contrast of materials. The seat shells are also available with a seat cushion or full upholstery.

• Seat shell: Dyed-through, recycled polypropylene, 100% recyclable. All models are available with a seat cushion (screwed to the seat shell) or full upholstery
• Base: Wooden base in various shades of maple or honey-toned ash, stained and lacquered finish
• Steel rod cross struts in basic dark
• Origin of wood: Ash (Fraxinus excelsior) and Maple (Acer platanoides) from Western Europe and/or Poland.
