Vitra Plywood Group LCM Chair

Designed by Charles and Ray Eames, due to the slender organic shapes of its seat and back shells, the LCM (Lounge Chair Metal) quickly acquired the nickname 'potato chip chair'. The LCM Chair encapsulated three-dimensionally moulded plywood seat shells that conform to the contours of the human body. The Plywood Group have matured into classics with an appearance that is still contemporary today. Thanks to the organic shape of the plywood shells and the slightly flexible backrests, these chairs are extremely comfortable.
